For the still life assignment edits, I just wanted to enhance the details in the jewelry and allow that to pop against the dark navy background. The edits are subtle but I think create a better balance between the shiny metals and the subdued navy cloth. I found it challenging to create this effect and felt that I wanted to continue to apply changes in photoshop. They’re not perfect but I’m pleased with the results.
