FIN 201 Unit 2

This exercise was an overview of learning how to edit audio and the different ways to do so with Adobe’s Premiere Pro. We went through multiple sequences and edited them following the Linked In learning video of Premiere Pro’s Editing Guru.

Celina’s Audio Edit Exercise
Celina’s Motion Graphics Exercise – Part 3

This exercise was an extension of exercise 8. We were tasked with using the footage we created in part 1 and 2, and then needed to integrate our After Effects video and merge it with Premiere Pro. This allowed us to use the animated text with a transparent background and use it with a video background in premiere pro.

Celina’s Motion Graphics Exercise

This exercise was an introduction to motion graphics using Adobe’s After Effects software. Motion graphics are animated graphic design elements that can be used in a sequence to create an illusion of movement. By using the simple acapella track, we paired the lyrics in the song to make it look like the words we’re matched with the voices. We were able to select our own colour palette, and I chose mine by selecting one that reminded me of easter. We used timing of the song to align when each “Hellooo” would pop in, and selected a different animation for each word. We also we’re tasked with organizing our timelines for the best possible efficiency. To finish off the short, we used these layered circle shapes and staggered them to make it look like it was matching the music. We also updated the colours so it would be cohesive to the whole story and ended it on a star to finish strong.
